Acai berry pills? Has anyone tried them?
I was looking on a fitness website and some one put on a blog of how they lost 35lb in 3 months using these pills, they cut back hunger and help you feel energetic, and there are other blogs on there that say they are great, but i just want to know if anyone has tried these and how they felt when they were on them.
Sensible comments please as i am seriously thinking about it.
Thank you

This is another fad diet that has no clinical proof that it works. Tests using placebos show that there was no more weight loss using Acai berry pills than when on the placebo. Save your money, just use a good diet and some exercise. Many of the over the counter weight loss product manufacturers have been fined for advertising that their products do more than they actually do and had to take these claims off the packaging or remove the product from the self. They still stretch the truth about the effectivness of the product, but it is within guidelines set by the FDA. Many products have been taken off the market because they were completely phoney and unhealthy. According to a program that I watched, and to studies I have read, the only over the counter weight loss product that actually does what it says, it Alli. It used to be prescription. Most diet aids require the person to follow a good diet and exercise…this is what works…not the pill…..

Hi,
My own personal experience is that I have seen results from taking acai berry supplements but that doesn’t mean it’s the be all and end all magical wand to weight loss if you know what I mean. Especially considering all the posts on here lately about the stuff.
but that said
I’ve been using acai berry products for a couple of months now and I’ve noticed that yes they do work. I used them when I wanted to trim off about 15lbs.
I knew that diet and exercise alone would help achieve that goal alone but I needed something to help me with my mid afternoon snacking urges. This is where I found the acai berry really helped me.
It helped to curb those mid afternoon urges which meant when I went out jogging later that night I wasn’t just jogging to work off that bag of Doritios I snacked on around 3pm instead I was actually working off the weight I wanted..
After a couple months I now no longer needed the supplements and can manage my weight more easily, so I found that yes they really did help speed up my weight loss goals when I used them along with a diet and exercise program, as the berries gave me more energy and helped to curb my appetite
